The SBIS database is designed to provide users with non-commercial and objective information about sustainable building practices around the world.
Notes for users

SBIS defines a project as an activity involving at least a group of people that has a beginning, an end and a budget. Thus, all IEA and CIB working groups are R&D projects, as would a large-scale and long-term project within research organizations. The outcome of an R&D project can be a policy, tool, demonstration building or other product.
