This file contains short descriptions of buildings of interest. Buildings with high performance are of course of special interest in a database of this type, and a problem is to distinguish between those that are merely visually interesting from others that can serve as useful references. On the other hand, we cannot make the selection process so restrictive that we can guarantee stellar performance in all those selected. We will select buildings that have undergone some form of screening, such as the GBC process, or that have been nominated by major organizations as being worthy of attention. Where case studies exist, they will be located in the Documents section.
